The old insistence that there's never a good time to die, is, hm. Wrong.

Now would be far more convenient than later. This way, he can choose. It'll be swift, brutal, painless.

They think it will.  But then they haven't had a few very good information updates from the future. The future is useful. One really needs to avoid oneself, and Vahl has done that, however, a personal library,  tech-magic laboratory (That was something of a surprise, despite the fact the Kaldoan races are known as tech-witches) detailed computer files... all make for an excellent short cut to the information one needs to survive.

Death is not the end for his race, even if they do believe it's the final solution.

High time for a bit of info, Vahlmir Ravenhead (Vahl) having not been terribly active recently.

At this point, the God of Dreams has been outlawed by the Chieftains of Kaldoa, for crimes committed against five of the younger gods. Please note, this guy is a monster. He'll not only do any vicious thing whatsoever, that it takes to gain power, but also if it amuses him. That said, I can't have him killing other muses or going around maiming/torturing, he's actually rather personable when one first meets him, and will give every impression of being a pleasant, sociable kind of person.

He has had his highly advanced psychic ability removed, so can no longer get into your muse's head the way he once could. However, he's still a god, has some limited psychic ability, and if the opportunity arises, to get ahead by trampling anyone into the dust, it will be taken.

He's issued a five million dollar reward for anyone who hands him Phoenix Kaelen, dead (Not going to happen) or alive - he will happily give your muse some gadgetry to help them out in this. Is currently hiding out somewhere in the cosmos, possibly gathering an army, or finding ways to make war on Kaldoa. Vahl does however turn up on Earth, in 2010 a fair bit.

It's a diverting little amusement.

This muse was originally a shared character, between two muns, one of which alas *cries* Can't keep up with three kids, a job, AND RP any longer. 

So now it's just me. He hasn't been played much and I hope I do him justice.

ooc: (By not the regular mun. Vahl is 'shared')  It occurs that after 350 years, Vahlmir Ravenhead's psychic restraint would result in a dark, nightmarish insanity. I heard this on the radio today and it seemed appropriate.
